Many thanks for the encouragement - I'm just hoping to make it all the way round in one go - might take me longer than 40 mins. Good luck too!

Wow, you hit the nail on the head...we are preparing a new venture that will fulfill this need for a fantastic tropical experience on St. Lucia. We started developing this business as our own experiences were similar to yours, and we feel that the resorts create an over commercialized atmosphere and the small local places are missing a lot of simple things.

Check us out and please give me some feedback as we want to make this the BEST travel experience possible! If you go to my blog, you can see exactly how we came to the conclusions and where we are going.
Thanks.
Steve

Well Bleeding Love has been on fire over there - it had already hit #1 on US iTunes before she'd even arrived in the USA to start the promo about a month ago (she was still doing all that Sport Relief stuff at the time on the BBC), so all pre-Oprah (though that undoubtedly helped it along further).

The song has already sold a million digital downloads, and it's just become only the second song in the Digital era to top 200,000 in weekly sales in three separate weeks (Umbrella by Rihanna is the other). Pretty much like the rest of the world it seems to have become a bit of an anthem for teenage girls and young women so not sure I subscribe to the middle-aged women theory.

It's that song combined with a series of well-lauded live TV performances which seem to have driven album sales. In an era where so much American music is tailored to the Urban genre, with female vocalists almost always having a rap collaboration on their songs (Mariah, Rihanna, Beyonce, Natasha Bedingfield even), and so many performers have their voices electronically enhanced, I expect it comes as a bit of a shock to find someone who can still sing live!
